It is with great pride that Spordle welcomed the launch of the Hockey Canada Foundation Assistance Fund, a program that will provide $ 1 million dollars to help young Canadians return to hockey running on a platform powered by Spordle.

“Spordle’s main goal since its inception has been to support sports organizations on their journey. With Hockey Canada trusting us to develop the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund website and online registration platform, we are delivering on this promise. Moreover, we must celebrate the leadership of Hockey Canada as well as the involvement of multiple major partners who have contributed to this aid, which comes at the right time for many Canadians in this period of financial instability for families, ” said Lyno Côté, President and CEO of Spordle.

The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund is a $1 million fund that has been created to provide help to Canadians experiencing financial challenges as a result of COVID-19. The Assist Fund will provide up to $500 per player in registration fee subsidies to approved applicants who are registered with a Hockey Canada-sanctioned association, helping young Canadians get back on the ice in their communities.
