Time to jump back on the ice and have fun
Minor hockey activities are gradually starting again across the province, as players can finally jump on the ice and meet their teammates with a smile on their faces!
To this end, the provincial federation has shared the guidelines to be followed during practices and games in order to ensure a safe environment for all.
A passion for the game
This shared passion for the sport unites tens of thousands of hockey players across the province. Hockey helps develop skills on the ice, of course, but in addition to athletic prowess, the sport promotes the personal development of the person playing it. With an emphasis on fun, hockey is a game that you can play and enjoy throughout your life!
With this gradual return to the ice, the province's young hockey players can once again experience the thrill of carrying the puck on the ice, going off on a breakaway, feel the exhilaration of scoring a first goal or the adrenaline rush of making a spectacular save. This positive environment allows you to experience new things and grow as an athlete, but also as a person. There are many positive aspects related to playing sports, such as physical exercise, the importance of maintaining a good attitude and the benefits of teamwork.
All safety measures are in place for a fun 2020-2021 minor hockey season. Teamwork, on and off the ice, will be the key to a successful and fun hockey season.
